For over 15 years now Jeremy Levan has entertained audiences across the world with his captivating
solo guitar playing and soulful singing. Some of the countries he has performed in include Canada, the
United States, Ireland, New Zealand, Australia and Tanzania. He has recorded a CD - Soulodyssey -
and is currently working on his second as-yet-untitled CD.
Philosophy:
To please an audience, a performer needs to be aware of the setting and the vibe to judge the song
selection carefully. If the audience is happy they'll stay, and as a result the establishment or host will
be satisfied, leading to a possible return performance by the artist. In this desired situation, everybody
wins! Further, it is essential to take the time to learn material properly and ensure that it is
well-rehearsed. This all adds up to Jeremy's "Ultimate Unplugged Experience." Many people also enjoy
original music, which is why Jeremy plays original compositions throughout his sets.
Credentials:
Jeremy holds a degree in music through Laurentian University, a BEd degree through Nipissing
University and an MEd degree, also through Nipissing University. He is a currently a school teacher
with the Simcoe County District School Board but he has also taught in New Zealand and Tanzania. In
music he has taught full concert band, choir, guitar and hand drumming. Jeremy also gives guitar
